How to Install Your PS5 SSD

1Power off your PS5 completely and unplug all cables from the console.

2Remove the PS5 cover by lifting from the bottom left corner and sliding it off.

3Locate the M.2 SSD expansion slot and remove the screw and cover plate.

4Insert your M.2 SSD at a 30-degree angle into the slot, then press down gently.

5Secure the SSD with the mounting screw and replace the cover plate.

6Reattach the PS5 cover, reconnect cables, and power on to format your new SSD.
